I love travelling. There are so many amazing places to see but nowhere near enough time or money to see them all. The world we live in is so full of culture and history. We can learn so much by embracing and experiencing different cultures and beliefs, not just about the world we live in but also about ourselves as people.

There are so many places I want to visit and things I want to see that I don’t know where I want to go first! Very few feelings are as good as the anticipation of knowing that you are exploring a new place whether it’s local or in a new country. For me, traveling is an important part of life. Being able to experience different cultures has always been exciting for me and something that I look forward to spending my life doing.

I can’t wait for the day when it is safe to visit countries like Iran and Afghanistan – hopefully before all of the amazing cultural history has been destroyed. These are countries that have so much to offer, but due to the events of the last few decades, these are not countries that many people would choose to visit. We have to remember not to take opportunities to visit new places for granted, especially as there is a strong likelihood that some places will no longer exist in the way we know them now.

It is one of my life goals to travel as much as I can and to visit as many new places as possible. I want to have stories about all of my adventures and the things I experienced when I visited somewhere for the first time. I want photos of the things I see and do to show my family when I’m old. I want to know that I didn’t waste my life waiting for “the right time” because in the world we’re living in there is never going to be a right time to see something beautiful.
